Facility Equipment Operator - Deer Trail, Colorado

Clean Harbors is seeking a Facility Equipment Operator for their Deer Trail, Colorado facility. As a Facility Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating equipment inside of the facility. You will ensure that the unit has daily maintenance duties performed and communicate any problems or issues with the unit immediately upon discovery.

Must have Dozer, loader, compactor and excavator experience. Will work in hazardous waste and non hazardous waste areas.

Pay: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience. Why Work for Clean Harbors?

  • Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all safe work practices and policies.
  • Operate machinery including yard goats, front-end loaders, excavators, bulldozers, track hoes, compactors, water trucks, and sweepers.
  • Complete daily checklists to ensure proper equipment operation.
  • Submit all necessary paperwork for waste tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management as needed.
    
    Qualifications
    
    Qualifications:
    
    
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
    • 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment or relevant experience as a heavy equipment mechanic preferred.
    • Proficient with laptops and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and willingness to learn Clean Harbors programs.
    • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
