For those looking to make a difference and find a professional home, Wipfli offers a career-defining opportunity.Responsibilities:Responsible for managing and coordinating tax compliance and advisory work for clientsReview Individual, Trust, and Estate tax returnsLead client relationships on day to day tax matters supporting partners with service execution and development of extended servicesResearch and consult on technical matters and special projectsProactively build relationships and communicate effectively with the client to provide superior client serviceActively participate in business development efforts to include working collaboratively with partners and marketing professionals to target and build relationships with client prospectsManage, train and develop staff. Participate in the performance review processAttain a thorough technical competency and industry specific expertise through CPE, firm/industry group events, webinars, etc.Review tax-related information to include tax provisions, depreciation schedules, property tax returns, etc.Lead multi-disciplined client service teams for account planningPrepare and review client correspondenceActively participate in firm sponsored events for industry-specific and/or regional clients and prospectsQualifications:Requires a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experienceCPA certification, or progress towards obtaining, preferred in the respective state in which they are practicing (or actively pursuing CPA certification)Requires at 4+ years of job related experienceRequires prior accounting and/or tax experienceSubject matter leader in similar accounting and/or tax servicesManagement and/or mentoring experience with other staff membersExperience making recommendations to managementPrior public accounting experience desiredCarly Seidl, from our recruiting team, will be guiding you through this process. The estimated pay range for this position is: $64,000 to $114,000. Compensation within the range is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, individuals' skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business needs and applicable employment laws.Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.Wipfli cares about our associates and offers a variety of benefits to support their well-being.
